Data Controller: GELECEK NESİL TEKNOLOJİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“X Future”, “we”). Bitlis, Turkey.
Contact: [email protected]
This text explains, within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and related legislation, which personal data X Future processes, for what purposes, based on which legal grounds, and your rights as a data subject.
For readers outside Turkey: X Future is established in Turkey; therefore, the primary legal framework for data processing is the KVKK. If the data protection legislation of your country of residence grants you broader rights, those rights also apply: under the GDPR in the European Area and the United Kingdom, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The address below is sufficient for your requests; you do not need to separately prove which country you are in.
1. Data We Process
- Account data: business name, owner/staff name, e-mail, phone, role.
- Operational data you enter: products, menu, inventory, invoices, orders, tables, and sales records.
- Customer data you choose to store: e.g., customer name or loyalty records. You are the controller of this data; we process it on your behalf.
- Technical data: device, app version, logs and error diagnostics required to operate and secure the service.
- Voice and images you submit: voice commands and invoice/product photos you provide to the AI to perform a task.
- Payment data: we never see or store your card number. We only receive the payment result, amount, and billing details.
2. Purpose of Processing and Legal Grounds
- Providing the POS and AI features you request — performance of a contract.
- Keeping the service secure and continuous — legitimate interest.
- Accounting, tax, and e-invoice obligations — legal obligation.
- Optional product notifications — solely with your explicit consent.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
X Future is built to work locally and close to you. Your operational and AI working data is stored in infrastructure under our control; we do not sell your data. If any transfer abroad is required, we do so strictly on a lawful basis (your explicit consent or the safeguards required by the KVKK) and inform you in advance.
Payment and billing data: for orders outside Turkey, payments are collected through X Future’s authorized reseller. This company acts as an independent data controller regarding payment and tax data: it processes your card data within its own systems, issues invoices under its own name, and reports taxes to the relevant country itself. The processing of such data is subject to that company's own privacy policy; only the payment result and billing details are transmitted to us.
Storage of data in Turkey: our servers are located in Turkey. Data of a customer located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred to Turkey in order to provide the service; the legal basis for this transfer is the performance of the contract between us. For corporate customers who require additional contractual safeguards (standard contractual clauses) for the transfer, we sign them.
4. Retention Period
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the above purposes or as required by legislation (such as tax records). When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.
5. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You always have the right to: learn whether your data is processed and request information; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete/inaccurate data; request deletion/destruction; object to unfavorable outcomes resulting from automated analysis; and demand compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
Write to [email protected] for these rights. We respond within the statutory period (at most 30 days).
6. Cookies
This website uses only the minimum storage necessary to remember your language preference. We do not use tracking cookies.
7. Changes
We may update this text; the “last updated” date above always indicates the current version.
